Playset Warranty

Dallas Playsets is an authorized Gorilla dealer. Gorilla (Backyard PlayNation, LLC) warrants sets purchased through and installed by an authorized dealer showroom to be free from defects in workmanship and materials, under normal residential use:

• Lifetime coverage on above-ground wood components
• Lifetime coverage on slides
• 2 years on non-wood parts — plastics, hardware, swings, tarps, ropes, and similar accessories that shipped with the set

That is the dealer-and-install path. It is stronger than a kit you assembled yourself or bought from a source that is not an authorized Gorilla dealer.

If you buy a Gorilla playset from us and skip professional installation, Gorilla’s standard limited warranty applies: 10 years on above-ground wood and 1 year on non-wood components. Slides remain lifetime. Accessories purchased separately from a swing-set package are limited to 1 year.

Basic swing sets, picnic tables, sandboxes, and similar standalone items follow Gorilla’s 1-year limited warranty on those products.

These are normal outdoor-wood characteristics or owner-maintenance items, not defects:

• Peeling, splintering, warping, seasonal checking or cracking, knots, and knot holes that do not affect how the set works
• Stain fade, discoloration, mold, or mildew on wood or accessories
• Wood rot or decay from installing in poor drainage
• Damage from wood-boring bees, storms, misuse, accident, or modifications we did not make
• Surface rust on hardware and chips in powder coat that do not affect strength
• Cracks in plastic that do not affect function or structure
• Labor to replace a part, and freight on replacement parts after the 30-day missing/damaged window

The owner is responsible for sealing cedar in Texas weather and for checking hardware. Conditions that develop because the set was not maintained are not covered. We can quote a maintenance visit if you want the crew to seal and torque it.

Gorilla replaces a defective above-ground part at its discretion after it verifies the defect. Coverage is for the original residential purchaser, outdoor use at a single-family home, and is not transferable. Commercial, indoor, or multi-family use voids it.

Hardware we installed that backs out in the first weeks of play is a follow-up service call, not a warranty form — we come back at no extra charge.

Gorilla / Backyard PlayNation disclaims implied warranties to the extent allowed by law and is not liable for incidental or consequential damages. Some states do not allow those limits. This warranty gives you specific legal rights; you may have others under Texas law. Keep proof of purchase.
